Trying something new!

 Hi everyone, 

   The coolest way to find inspiration in art is to start a different media of art. For example, if you are doing pottery as an artist. The new things to try would be painting. Some may say that is a crazy idea, but it works. Recently, I took a class in "Alcohol Resin" it was so awesome I loved it. After I took the class, I had so many ideas on what I wanted to do next. It finally got me out of my grove to finally do something fun and interesting. The cool thing about doing this is that you are meeting people. Specially during the pandemic it's hard to go outside and meet people. I loved how things turned out in terms of the resin tiles coasters I made. I loved it and would do it again!!! 

I found this picture on the internet and it's exactly the type of work I did. But the design is completely different than mine. It's so much fun and it's interesting how to create this type of artwork.

Overwhelm Process

 Hi everyone, 

   I am here to explain the overwhelm stage that all artists get when we had a little too much inspiration. Well, I came across this past weekend and let me tell you it's not easy. I learned that in order to stop being overwhelmed is to take a break and possibly writing down all ideas before they float away. Let me tell you they do float away. Then taking some breaks really help the process of being overwhelmed. Maybe stepping away for a while is a great idea as well. But just know the artist process of being overwhelmed and artist block is real! What helps to is just outlining things instead of drawing it out and over thinking it. Being like this art piece is the same as the feeling of being overwhelmed or blocked.
